Child at Christmas excited about opening a present

29th Annual Christmas Give-Away Offers Food, Toys to Colorado Springs Families in Need

On Dec. 21 from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the Bob Telmossé Foundation will host its 29th Annual Christmas Giveaway.

Colorado Springs residents donated boxes of stuffing, canned vegetables and fruit, frozen turkeys, winter clothing, bicycles and new toys and books for kids and teens.

Other local Springs businesses made huge contributions this year to the Giveaway.

The Commercial Insurance group at Progressive, for example, conducted a two-week coat drive among their employees. The dedicated group collected about 150 coats for adults and kids.

Dr. Scott Gamm, his wife LeAnn, and the staff of Balance Wellness and Chiropractic Center in Rockrimmon held a Christmas in July toy drive to benefit the Christmas Giveaway.  During that month, they collected a substantial contribution of toys and clothing.
