Scholarship and Service Opportunity for Colorado Springs Teens

This Saturday, Feb. 4, students ages 16 and up are encouraged to participate in a Habitat for Humanity project in Colorado Springs. This is an opportunity to give back to the community and win a $250.00 book scholarship from Barnes & Noble.

There are some guidelines to follow before participating and space is limited. Organizers ask that anyone interested contact Sherrie at 719-209-3799 or email sgibson@afterschooluniversity.com.

825 S. Hancock Avenue (near the intersection of S. Hancock Avenue & E Fountain Blvd)

Time:

1 p.m.-4:30 p.m.

Safety briefings are mandatory and students must have their parents sign a waiver before participating.

Organizers ask that each participant complete the thirty minute Safety Course before the build day.
