Telling Your Car Accident Lawyer the Truth Is Necessary to Obtain the Compensation You Deserve

The little white lie. We’ve all told them at one point or another. Stretching the truth or exaggerating typically isn’t the end of the world. However, when it comes to personal injury lawsuits, lying can severely damage your entire case and put any settlement you hope to receive in jeopardy.

While our car accident lawyers at Heuser & Heuser cannot stress the importance of telling the truth enough, we understand how difficult it can be to remain perfectly accurate when recounting your story over and over throughout the duration of your case.

That’s why communicating every detail of your situation to an experienced attorney following your accident is vital to the success of your case. Honest attorney-client communication will lay the foundation for a strong case that avoids inconsistencies and holds up in settlement negotiations or the courtroom.

Evidence, the Legal Process, and the Importance of Telling the Truth

Fake/Fact Scrabble Pieces Stock Photo

If you decide to take legal action after being injured in an automobile accident that wasn’t your fault, there are many legal hoops, so to speak, that you’ll be expected to jump through such as collecting evidence, depositions, and settlement negotiations.

Most personal injury cases are able to reach a settlement and never need to be tried in court. However, if your case is particularly complex and difficult to settle, you may need to file a lawsuit to have your case heard in court. No matter what phase of the legal process you’re facing, telling the truth is essential throughout the duration of your case.

In car accident cases, solid evidence is necessary in order to determine who was at fault and if the victim is entitled to any compensation. This can include:

  • Medical bills, records, and any pre-existing conditions
  • Expert witness testimony
  • Your detailed account of the incident
  • Employment records

Out of all the evidence supplied, your personal testimony of the accident including your injuries, any medical treatment, the recovery process, and the impact it has had on your life will have great weight. You will likely be expected to describe what happened before, during, and after the accident many times before your case is resolved. It is critical that your account of the accident be consistent and truthful.

Establishing Credibility Is Harder Than it Seems

Your ability to obtain fair compensation rests on your testimony and injury case as a whole being credible. If the facts of your case are clearly and accurately presented, you will have a stronger chance of winning the compensation you deserve.

False & True Arrows On Pavement Stock Photo

With that said, establishing credibility is easier said than done. Between depositions, gathering evidence, and anticipating what the defendant will argue, the legal process can be long and intimidating. In fact, your case may last months or even years after the accident occurred. For this reason, the facts of your case can become murky as your memory of the specific details begins to fade. Through the course of the lengthy legal process, altering or skipping over minor details in order to paint a clearer picture of the accident may seem like an easy option. However, guessing at forgotten details or changing your story in any way is likely to backfire and hurt your credibility.

Additionally, the defendant’s attorney will take any chance they can get to undermine your credibility and paint you as a liar. Defense attorneys’ methods can be difficult to combat and even hard to detect at times. They can and will question every part of your testimony with extreme scrutiny in attempts to poke holes in your story. If they locate any inconsistencies around even the most trivial detail, it can damage your credibility and lead the judge or jury to not trust your word.

Falsus in Uno, Falsus in Omnibus

This Latin phrase translating to “False in one thing, false in all” is a common legal principle used to call a person’s credibility into question. An article published in the Yale Law Journal explains that the doctrine was used in the early nineteenth century to instruct juries that they may consider an individual who previously testified falsely to be unreliable. In other words, jurors can disbelieve an individual’s entire testimony if they are caught lying on any matter throughout the case.

While this is not a formal rule in American courts, jurors are permitted to apply it to their decision-making process.

If at any point during the investigation or legal process you contradict yourself or are caught lying, it can be used against you to prove your dishonesty. What you consider to be a “harmless exaggeration” can cast doubt on your entire case and leave you with little to no compensation for your injuries and damages. Even a white lie with the most innocent intentions can still have a devastating blow to your credibility.

Your Case Depends on Attorney-Client Communication

Whether you’re in settlement negotiations or the courtroom, you are vulnerable to doing or saying things that could potentially damage your case. The only way you can defend your case and prepare for anything the defendant’s attorney might argue is through attorney-client communication. If there are any inconsistencies, misrepresentations, forgotten details, or problems of any sort surrounding your case, our car accident attorneys need to know ahead of time so we can anticipate and plan for anything the defense might use against you.

Don’t let problems arise when it’s too late for your lawyer to help you. Even if it seems like a minor detail, your attorney needs all the information in order to best represent your interests. Your case depends on honest communication.

If you or a loved one has been injured in a car accident, call our law firm today at 719-520-9909 or fill out our contact form online to schedule a free consultation. Our knowledgeable car accident lawyers can review your case and discuss any legal options you may have.

Our Pueblo Car Accident Lawyers Explain What That Means For You

The roadways of Colorado can be stressful. Minute after minute ticks by in rush hour traffic, the Honda Civic next to you is rattling your windows with its music, and suddenly you notice your knuckles are white, and your teeth are clenched. Situations like this would make anyone stressed, even angry.

Unfortunately far too many people are angry on our roads, making them a dangerous place. The Denver Post reported Colorado was ranked second in the nation for fatal road rage auto accidents, following Indiana. 53 people died in 2016 because of the reckless driving of enraged individuals. These numbers are shocking due to the fact that they are preventable.

If you believe you were injured in an accident caused by road rage, you may benefit from speaking with a Pueblo car accident lawyer. Our attorneys at Heuser & Heuser, L.L.P. are experienced in road rage claims, and we want to help you! We care about the safety of our community and believe everyone should be aware of the signs of road rage and how to prevent it.

What is Road Rage?

Angry Male Driver Shouting At Other Drivers Stock Photo

Road rage typically starts as aggressive driving which, in Colorado, is considered “Reckless Driving,” a class 2 traffic misdemeanor. This type of driving is described as driving with a wanton or willful neglect for the safety of property or persons.

An aggressive driver will typically be weaving between lanes, speeding, and following other vehicles too closely. Aggressive driving, or reckless driving, can result in up to 90 days in jail and/or up-to $300 in fines.

When aggressive driving turns into road rage, the road becomes a hazard for other drivers. This type of driving typically results in a car wreck. The enraged driver may run another motorist off the road or even hit another vehicle. Some cases of road rage in Colorado have resulted in victims being shot or stabbed. Aggressive driving is fairly easy to spot, but how do you know if an aggressive driver is about to experience road rage and try to run you off the road?

What road rage looks like:

  • Swearing
  • Aggressive eye contact
  • Threatening other motorists
  • Making obscene hand gestures
  • Running another motorist off the road
  • Colliding with another vehicle
  • Pulling out a gun or other weapon

What to Do if I Witness Road Rage?

  1. Try to get away from the driver quickly and calmly.
  2. Refrain from engaging with the driver.
  3. Alert the authorities, and drive to the nearest police station if needed.
  4. Take note of the driver’s license plate number so the authorities can find him/her. Having an officer track down the driver is important as it may prevent an accident or even fatality.

How to Avoid Stressful Driving

It’s easy to imagine someone else getting road rage and causing an accident, but we are all humans capable of becoming stressed and aggravated. Use these simple tips to stay calm while driving in order to avoid getting road rage.

3 Tips to Avoid Road Rage

1. Leave early

If you are pressed for time and the car in front of you is driving under the speed limit, you may feel tempted to tailgate the driver to alert him/her to drive the appropriate speed limit. To avoid this type of situation in the future, leave earlier. This will give yourself plenty of time to get to your destination, and you won’t feel as pressured to engage in reckless driving.

2. Take deep breaths

Exercising deep breathing can greatly reduce the stress you may be feeling while stuck in traffic or being pressured by another driver. This will lower your heart rate and allow you to think more clearly.

3. Avoid other rage-filled drivers

If another driver is riding your bumper or trying to engage you with obscene gestures, keep your eyes in front of you and ignore them. If you refuse to retaliate they will likely move on without any further transgression towards you.

What You Should Do if You Are a Victim

We hope these tips help the drivers of Pueblo remain safe on our roads. Road rage is scary but easily prevented.

If you were injured in a road rage accident, a Pueblo car accident lawyer can help. Our Heuser & Heuser, L.L.P. attorneys understand the trauma you have gone through in your accident. We want to help you receive compensation if possible.

We can review the details of your accident and determine if you’re eligible to obtain compensation. If you are entitled to compensation, we can fight on your behalf. To schedule a consultation, give us a call at 719-520-9909. If you would feel more comfortable filling out a form online, you can do so here

Have You or a Loved One Suffered Injuries in a Truck Collision? Our Colorado Springs Truck Accident Attorneys Can Help

Commercial trucks are massive in size and weight, so when these vehicles are involved in a wreck, it can quickly lead to severe injuries or even death. There are various types of commercial truck accidents that can occur, however, jackknife collisions are one of the most common.

A jackknife collision happens when the trailer of a truck goes in one direction and the cab portion of the truck goes in the opposite direction. In many cases, when an 18-wheeler jackknifes, it will overturn, which can be dangerous for the trucker and any other nearby drivers.

If you or a loved one was involved in a tractor-trailer accident and sustained injuries, you may be entitled to compensation. Our Colorado Springs truck accident attorneys at Heuser & Heuser understand the difficulties injured victims face after truck accidents. Continue reading to learn more about jackknifing accidents and your legal options.

Truck Accident Statistics

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) shared the following statistical data from 2017:

  • A total of 4,102 people died in large truck crashes. 17 percent of these deaths were truck occupants, 68 percent were occupants of cars and other passenger vehicles, and 14 percent were pedestrians, bicyclists or motorcyclists.
  • 11 percent of all motor vehicle crash deaths occurred in large truck crashes.
  • 52 percent of deaths in large truck crashes occurred on major roads other than interstates and freeways.

These statistics prove the seriousness of truck collisions and how common they are on our roadways.

Causes of Jackknife Accidents

There are multiple reasons as to why jackknife accidents happen. Some of the most common include:

Hazardous Weather Conditions

Weather conditions can impact a truck driver’s ability to safely operate their vehicle. Hazardous conditions, such as rain and snow, create slippery roads that can cause trucks to slide, hydroplane, or jackknife.

Curves

Sharp curves can increase a trucker’s chances of losing control. 18-wheelers frequently jackknife while navigating large curves.

Equipment Failure

In some cases, commercial vehicles experience malfunctions, such as brake failure, that can cause drivers to lose control. This can result in jackknifing or other serious accidents.

High-speed Limits

When an 18-wheeler travels over 55 miles per hour, it makes it difficult to stop. Unlike regular vehicles that can quickly come to a stop, truckers who slam their brakes increase their chances of the trailer jackknifing.

When a tractor-trailer jackknifes, it can result in an accident and serious injuries. If you were involved in a jackknifing accident, it’s imperative to contact our experienced Colorado Springs truck accident attorneys, immediately. This type of case is time-sensitive and may involve multiple parties.

Common Injuries From an 18-Wheeler Accident

Some of the most common injuries resulting from big rig collisions include:

If you’re injured in a wreck with a large commercial vehicle, it’s essential to know how to proceed.

5 Steps to Take After an 18-Wheeler Accident

Oftentimes, victims are unsure about how to handle the moments after a truck accident. In some cases, victims damage their chances of obtaining compensation because they made rash decisions following their accident. Due to the frequency of truck collisions, our team has provided a list of steps that may help protect your legal rights and increase your chances of obtaining compensation, if you’re eligible.

1. Remain at the Scene and Check for Injuries

Fleeing the scene of a wreck can not only significantly impact your potential claim but cause you to face charges.

Immediately after a collision occurs, it’s also important to check to see if anyone involved is injured, including yourself, other drivers, and any passengers.

2. Call Emergency Responders

After checking for injuries, make sure to contact emergency responders. Once help arrives, they can transport anyone that needs medical attention to a local hospital. When the police arrive, they will review the scene of the accident and write a report. The police report will state the details of the accident and other important information that can possibly be used to support your claim.

3. Exchange Contact Information

Remember to ask for contact information from all those involved, including insurance information, driver’s license numbers, and phone numbers. Also, be sure to write down the name of the trucking company.

4. Collect Evidence

Evidence is crucial if you decide to seek compensation for damages. Without enough evidence, it will be difficult to support your claim. Some examples of evidence include:

  • Photos of the accident scene and your injuries
  • Police report
  • Witness statements
  • Medical bills
  • Truck driver logs
  • Inspection reports

5. Contact an experienced Colorado Springs Truck Accident Attorney

Semi-trailer accidents are often complex and involve many details. While you can attempt to handle the insurance companies alone, your chances of receiving the justice you deserve are much higher with a knowledgeable lawyer on your side. Our team can review every aspect of your case and inform you of your legal options. If you’re eligible to obtain compensation for damages, we will fight on your behalf and strive to obtain a fair amount for the pain you’ve endured.

Who Is Held Legally Responsible?

Trucker Performing Maintenance On A Semi-truck

Establishing liability after a tractor-trailer accident can be challenging, especially when more than one party played a role in the collision. Some of the parties that could possibly be found at fault include:

  • The truck driver
  • The owner of the 18-wheeler
  • The manufacturer
  • The loader and/or shipper

Handling multiple parties that have had a part in your accident, can be stressful and overwhelming. Our team highly recommends that you contact our firm to help you determine which party and/or parties are liable.

Pueblo Car Accident Attorneys Inform Residents About Safety on the Roadways

Traffic laws are implemented to help protect motorists, pedestrians, workers, and passengers on the roadways. When individuals fail to obey these laws, it can lead to devastating accidents and injuries. In attempts to reduce the number of collisions on Colorado roads, we have created a list of some of the right-of-way traffic laws in our state.

While understanding and following all traffic laws is vitally important, our law firm knows that automobile accidents can still happen. If you or a loved one sustained injuries caused by a negligent driver who failed to obey traffic laws, our experienced Pueblo car accident attorneys at Heuser & Heuser are here for you.

We have helped countless victims obtain the compensation they are owed after an accident. Our team can review your case and inform you of your legal options.

Right-of-Way Laws

Yield Sign With Clouds Stock Photo

Every state has right-of-way traffic laws in place that motorists are obligated to follow for the safety of all residents. According to the Colorado Drivers’ Handbook, “The law states who must yield the right-of-way; it does not give anyone the right-of-way, even if your traffic signal is green. You must do everything you can to prevent striking a pedestrian or another vehicle, regardless of the circumstances.”

The handbook details the specific right-of-way laws that motorists must obey when operating a motor vehicle. The following sections below describe who has the right-of-way in various types of traffic conditions:

Pedestrians

Drivers must yield the right-of-way to pedestrians under any condition. In the state of Colorado, pedestrians have the right-of-way at all intersections and crosswalks.

Bicycles

Bicycles on the roadways are considered vehicles, which means they have the same rights as those operating a motor vehicle. Additionally, bicyclists must comply with the same laws as drivers.

Four-Way Stops

When arriving at a four-way stop, drivers must yield the right-of-way to the car that reached the intersection first. If more than one vehicle arrives at the same time, then the vehicle on the left must yield the right-of-way to the vehicle on the right.

Emergency Vehicles

All drivers must yield the right-of-way to emergency vehicles. If at all possible, move your vehicle over to the right side of the road when encountering an emergency vehicle. If you’re unable to move over and/or change lanes, slow down to a safe speed and use caution as you pass. Any vehicle that uses sirens, air horns, or flashing red, blue, or white lights is considered an emergency vehicle.

Road Work and Construction Zones

Drivers are obligated by law to yield the right-of-way to all workers and construction vehicles. Also, motorists must follow the reduced speed limits, adjust lanes away from roadside workers, and pay attention to any unexpected actions.

School Buses

If a school bus is stopped and has its red lights flashing, you are required to stop at least 20 feet before the bus on either side of the road.

While this list covers many of the right-of-way laws in Colorado, it does not include every law. To learn more about the traffic laws in our state, refer to the Colorado Drivers’ Handbook

The sole purpose of establishing traffic laws is to protect those traveling on the roadways. When these laws are not enforced and drivers act negligently, it can lead to serious damage. Motorists who fail to comply with traffic laws may be subject to consequences.

Penalties for Failing to Obey Traffic Laws

Drivers who ignore the rules of the road have a high chance of being fined and penalized for their dangerous actions. The fine or punishment a motorist may face will depend on their specific violation.

Colorado uses a point system to punish motorists who fail to abide by the traffic laws. If a motorist receives too many points, their license could be suspended. Some of the point values include the following:

  • Failure to yield the right-of-way: Three points
  • Failure to stop for a school bus: Six points
  • Improper passing: Four points
  • Failure to yield to an emergency vehicle: Four points

To avoid penalties or your license being suspended, it’s imperative to follow all traffic laws set by the state.

The steps you decide to take immediately after an accident can greatly impact your potential claim. Listed below are tips you can follow after an accident:

  • Stay at the scene – It’s imperative to remain at the scene of the accident. If you don’t, you could face criminal penalties. Fleeing an accident is considered a hit and run.
  • Check to see if anyone is injured – The first thing you should do is check if you or anyone else involved in the car wreck has suffered any injuries.
  • Contact emergency responders – If someone is injured, call for help immediately. If not, it’s important to contact the police so you can have a police report filed.
  • Ask for information – It’s important to exchange information with the other driver such as phone number, license plate number, insurance information, and driver’s license number.
  • Take photos of the collision scene – Photos of the wreck can be used as evidence in a claim. Make sure to take pictures from multiple angles and of the other vehicles involved.
  • Contact your insurance company – Even if you’re not at fault, you need to inform your insurance company you have been involved in an accident.
  • Talk with witnesses – If anyone witnessed the wreck, ask what he or she saw. Also, ask for their contact information.
  • Contact our attorneys at Heuser & Heuser – If you or a loved one suffered any type of injuries due to another driver’s negligence, you may be eligible to receive compensation.

Why Should I Hire A Lawyer?

Insurance companies don’t look out for the best interest of the victim and will try to offer a low-ball settlement, which may not cover all of your expenses.

We are familiar with the tactics insurance companies frequently use to get victims to settle for the lowest offer. Our attorneys will not settle for a low offer when you deserve to receive more for your injuries. When you hire one of our attorneys, we will review all the details of your case and determine a reasonable amount of compensation you should receive for your injuries and any damages you experienced.

While every case is unique, our team will see what legal options are available for your case. We will review factors such as medical bills, pain and suffering, and damages to help determine an ideal amount of compensation you rightfully deserve.

Three-Vehicle Crash on I-25 Closed Highway

An accident on I-25 killed Lucas Huffman, 33-years-old, of Colorado Springs. Huffman was driving a Honda CRV when a 2014 Volkswagen Passat rear-ended his vehicle and caused him to drive into the median and oncoming traffic.

He hit a sedan and was ejected from his vehicle. All of the drivers were wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. Huffman died at the scene and the driver of the sedan suffered minor injuries.

Construction Site Accident Killed One and Left Two Injured

An accident that occurred on a construction site around Ridge Road and West Pikes Peak Avenue killed one person and injured two.

Construction workers had just cleared that area five minutes prior.” Joseph Quinones was riding in the back seat of the vehicle when the driver crashed into the crane. He later died due to his injuries.

Two others were also injured in the accident, including the driver.

Failure to Use Headlights Caused Car Crash That Injured Two

Two people were arrested in Colorado Springs after their failure to use headlights resulted in a car crash. The accident occurred at the intersection of North Academy Boulevard and York Road/Brookwood Drive.

Michael Cook and Bryana Rice were traveling in a Ford sedan with their headlights turned off when they hit an SUV at the intersection, which caused the SUV to turn on its side. Both Cook and Rice suffered injuries.

Driver Rescued by Good Samaritans After Accident

A 28-year-old woman, driving a 2004 GMC Envoy SUV, was traveling near North Carefree Circle and Scenic Circle when she was involved in an accident. According to KKTV 11, she drifted off the road and hit a curb, which caused her vehicle to roll and hit a parked truck. The woman was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident and “was partially ejected out of the passenger side window of her SUV.”

Witnesses reported that the vehicle appeared to have landed on the driver’s head. Several good Samaritans lifted the vehicle off of the woman and provided aid until help arrived. She was taken to a hospital and was reported to be in stable condition.

Speed and alcohol are believed to be factors in the accident. The driver received a misdemeanor traffic citation.

Were You Injured in an Accident Involving a Semi-Truck? Contact Our Colorado Springs Truck Accident Lawyers

According to American Trucking Associations (ATA), “Trucks move roughly 71% of the nation’s freight by weight.” Semi-trucks are an essential asset to our economy because they help keep it operating by moving consumer goods and other products. However, these trucks have also caused life-altering damage and injuries to other motorists due to their massive size and weight.

If you or a loved one sustained physical injuries and property damage due to a truck accident, Heuser & Heuser can assist you with your claim. Our Colorado Springs truck accident lawyers have the knowledge and experience to handle these specific cases. We understand that the legal process can be challenging to manage without proper legal advice from an attorney, which is why it’s in your best interest to seek legal guidance immediately after a truck accident.

Truck Accident Statistics

Semi-truck accidents happen more frequently than people realize. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) published the following data from 2017:

  • A total of 4,102 people died in large truck crashes.
  • 11 percent of all motor vehicle crash deaths occurred in large truck crashes.
  • 74 percent of deaths in large truck crashes involved tractor-trailers, and 25 percent were in crashes involving single-unit-trucks.
  • 48 percent of large occupant deaths occurred in crashes in which the vehicles rolled over.

Why the State of Colorado is Dangerous for Truckers

Colorado is home to the Rocky Mountains and is part of the “Million Dollar Highway.” The Million Dollar Highway, also known as Highway 550, contains curvy trails and hazardous roads due to weather conditions. For example, weather conditions such as black ice and snow can greatly impact the roadways and result in accidents.

According to Business Insider, “For Colorado, in particular, it’s definitely the black ice and winds, and there are a lot of mountains too. It’s extremely dangerous to drive there.”

Although the Million Dollar Highway is a shortcut for countless truckers heading out West, it does not come without potential danger.

Top Reasons for Trucking Accidents

Truck Driver Texting While Driving An 18-wheeler

Tractor-trailer wrecks occur for numerous reasons, however, they can all lead to severe damage and life-altering injuries. Some of the most frequent causes of trucking collisions include the following:

  • Driving fatigued – Truckers drive extended hours which can cause fatigue if they don’t take time to rest. Since drivers typically have a deadline to meet, they will often skip necessary rest breaks to ensure they reach their destination by the required time. When a trucker drives without adequate rest, it can cause a lack of concentration and slower reaction time.
  • Lack of training – In some cases, a driver may lack the proper training to safely operate a large semi-truck.
  • Distracted driving – Since truckers spend long hours behind the wheel, some may look for ways to burn the time. This can include talking on the phone, texting, or changing the radio station. These are all common types of distracted driving that can lead to an accident.
  • Poor maintenance – Vehicle maintenance is vital to the overall safety of the driver and their truck. If maintenance checks are not frequent, it can lead to an accident. For example, incorrect tire pressure and worn parts can impact the safety of the truck and result in tragic accidents.

While trucking accidents can happen for a wide variety of reasons, it’s imperative to know how to proceed if you’re in an accident with a truck. The moments immediately following a collision can impact any potential compensation that may be available for the injuries and property damage you suffered.

Steps to Follow After a Collision

The decisions you make after a tractor-trailer accident are crucial because it can influence your claim should you choose to file. Listed below are tips you can follow if you’re involved in a wreck with a semi-truck:

  • Remain calm – It’s natural to react with shock after being involved in an accident, however, it’s essential to not allow your emotions to dictate how you will proceed.
  • Call emergency personnel – It’s in your best interest to call emergency responders after a wreck. When the responding police officer arrives, they can review the accident scene and write a report. A police report can be used as vital evidence if you choose to file a claim.
  • Ask for information – Even though the police will file a report, relevant information such as the phone number, the name of the trucking company, and the driver’s license number are essential to obtain from the other driver.
  • Gather evidence – Evidence such as photographs and witness statements can help build your accident case if you choose to file a claim.
  • Contact a knowledgeable attorney – Truck accident cases can be difficult to file without legal advice. With a knowledgeable attorney handling your case, you may increase your chances of receiving compensation for what you endured.

Know Your Legal Options

Lawyer Providing Legal Advice To A Client Privately

If you or someone you know was injured in a trucking collision, our truck accident attorneys can assist you with your legal claim. Trucking companies typically have large insurance policies in place to protect their drivers in case of a collision, however, this can make it difficult to file a claim. Additionally, these insurance companies may attempt to offer a low settlement amount, which may not cover all of your expenses. In order to determine if you are eligible to obtain compensation, an attorney will need to examine the circumstances of your case. Compensation can help cover medical bills, lost wages, and various other costs.

Our Colorado Springs truck accident lawyers can help you receive the maximum compensation for your injuries and any property damage. At Heuser & Heuser, we understand the anxiety and stress you may face after being injured due to the negligent actions of a truck driver, however, don’t allow your feelings to prevent you from calling our office for help.
